Swamp Jaguars - Western part of the Swamp of Sorrows is inhabited by deadly feline species, the Swamp Jaguar. These big cats drop a lot of Vendor Trash Items (Long Soft Tail and Bristly Whisker), Large Fangs (used in Leatherworking, Blacksmithing, and Alchemy Recipes), Wicked Claws (used in Leatherworking and Blacksmithing Recipes), 12 Slot Bags, and most importantly can be Skinned for Heavy Leather and Thick Leather (Skinning is not necessary for this spot, because of Jaguar's already great loot table). This is one of the best spots for farming your Level 40 Mount Gold. Recommended level - 35+ (you might need to clear other Swamp creatures as well, just to be safe).
Tyr's Hand (marked RED on the map) - One of the Scarlet Crusade's Bastions, the Tyr's Hand is located in the south-eastern part of the Eastern Plaguelands. Scarlet Crusade members that can be encountered there have a very good Loot Table. The main focus here will be the Scarlet Archmage (which is an Elite, so farming them solo might not be possible for some Classes). the Archmage drops a lot of Runecloth, ~14 Silver worth of Pocket Money on average, and most importantly, the Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader which is very valuable to all Enchanters and achieves really high prices on the Auction House. Mobs encountered in Tyr's Hand can be Pickpocketed, so this is a quite good spot for experienced Rogues. Recommended Level - 60 (some Classes might be required to find a Farming Partner and go in as a duo).
Create a Bank Alt and level it up to level 5 - The leveling part is very important because you can pick up Enchanting after you reach it. In Classic, you can disenchant EVERY uncommon item of every level, if you have the enchanting profession. Disenchanting weak BoE Uncommon Items and selling Enchanting Materials on AH will help you make some extra money out of otherwise Vendor-destined gear. The Bank Alt will also serve as your high-capacity storage for various items* that are bound to rise in value over time or might come in handy at a later date. Overall, this is a must-have, as it will improve your overall leveling and Gold-making efficiency, let you store additional items, allow you to consolidate your Gold on a single character, and provide you with a way of squeezing some extra Gold out of various Items.
Pick the Right Professions - Professions will amount to a very large portion of your Gold income if you pick the right ones. We will cover this subject in much more detail in the next section of this Guide, but here is a TL/DR version: Gathering Professions are generally better on new servers (for example, Skinning provides you with some extra money for every single Beast that you slay in the world, even if you just vendor the gathered Leather), especially if you are leveling quickly, as Crafting professions require a lot of Time and Gold investment to level up (but they get much better when you are leveling slowly and during the End-Game, because then the ability to craft some gear starts to outvalue the ability to make a quick profit).
To gain gold in World of Warcraft, you will primarily be grinding professions which are fantastic for receiving rewards. Mining is an example of a great profession at an early-game level. While Herbalism is actually the best gathering profession, the issue is it uses consumables which can make the profession rather costly, with the investment required.

Before work began on World of Warcraft: Classic, it was only possible for players to experience the original World of Warcraft by using private servers, which are illegal, often have stability or corruption problems, and generally are very imperfect recreations of the authentic World of Warcraft experience. As much as Blizzard has been aware of the desires of their community, until recently it seemed impossible for them to emulate Classic servers due to the technical hurdles of essentially having to run two massively multiplayer online games side-by-side. A breakthrough was then achieved that made it possible to run Classic servers on the modern architecture of current World of Warcraft servers.
Acidmaw Bears, Grizzlies, and Maulers (marked BLUE on the map) - The once majestic Bears of Felwood are now corrupted by Fel Magic. Free them from their painful existence, and earn some Gold in the process. Felwood's Bear species drop a lot of Vendor Trash Items (Bear Jaw, Bear Flank, Savage Bear Claw, and Large Bear Bone), 14 Slot Bags, rare 16 Slot Bags, and most importantly can be Skinned for Thick Leather, Rugged Leather, Warbear Leather (used by Leatherworkers for Warbear Harness and Warbear Woolies Recipes), Thick Hide, and Rugged Hide (Skinning is recommended for this Farming Location, as it will greatly increase potential profits).
Plaguebats (marked BLUE on the map) - These Plague-affected beastly flying creatures roam southern parts of the Eastern Plaguelands. Slaying them will provide you with a lot of Vendor Trash Items (Evil Bat Eye, Bat Ear, Sleek Bat Pelt, and Large Bat Fang), Wicked Claws (used in Leatherworking and Blacksmithing Recipes), and maybe some 16 Slot Bags. Bats can also be Skinned for Rugged Leather, Thick Leather, Thick Hide, and Rugged Hide, so Skinning Profession is recommended for this Spot. Plague Bats have access to the Terrifying Screech Ability, so they can get annoying at times, especially for melee Classes, but are a great source of Gold nevertheless. Recommended Level - 53+.
I made some route changes to the Horde levels 43-44 sections.  I have swapped 44 Dustwallow Marsh with 44 Desolace (the entire sections). This allowed me to do Deadmire (at lvl 43 instead of 38) and then go stop at TB to turn in Deadmire + The Black Shield at the same time, then fly quickly to do the Desolace stuff.  Doing 44 Desolace is now mandatory because I think its faster with the new routes. This will also make the level 53 grind much shorter.  I think these were great changes. 

Nov 15 Little Test on Class Quest Rewards Hey guys, I did a little test on certain class rewards to check whether they are adequate or not for the level they are obtainable. Paladin - Verigan's Fist is a famous weapon, added probably during the Naxx patch and lot of paladins remember lasting it for long time. Obtainable level is like 22, with party of same level players. And the Mace is equivalent to a level 26 Blue Mace. This means it's not bad! Warrior - Brutal Hauberk is infamous warrior chest. It is obtainable at level 20(as I remember), but it requires running a level 28+ dungeon. And it's mediocre - it compares to a level 24 blue, which is stupid. Whirlwind Axe is a famous warrior weapon which requires a nanny. :D You get level 30 and then pay people money or beg them to help you. This is not even doable with normal party until 35ish. Whirlwind Axe is equivalent to a 35 level Blue Axe, which is decent but still seems to be forcing it. Unless you hire a nanny, being social will probably help you get it at around 35-36 with similar level players. Warlock - Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe is pretty famous. I am not sure when it is exactly doable but is comparable to a level 35ish Robe. I think the verdict is that Paladin's Hammer is by far the best and the reason for it is that it was added later, at the end of vanilla, when Blizzard had more brains. :DHolylr1 Nov 15
Nov 15 Professions Hey guys. Can you think of good items that you crafted and lasted for several levels at least? I have played on private servers and with 1.12 itemization, there was barely anything that I could use for even 3 levels. I have leveled up a leartheworker and only thing I remember using was Deviate Scale Belt. Yes, it's very decent and could last a few levels. But later, there are some blue gloves which are fine, but nothing brilliant. And "Guardian Belt"(+6 spirit, +6 stamina) is pathetic for a blue. I remember trying to craft Robe of power as Tailor for a mage but it wasn't that brilliant either, maybe you digress. :) Sure, at level 60, there are nice robes for tailors but before that, do you think using the 1.12 client diminishes the role of crafting professions for leveling? Imagine ability to craft some brilliant item(for each profession) at level 30 that would last full ten levels just like Warrior's Whirlwind Axe, would be decent, no? Warlocks also have similar quest for Enchanted Gold Bloodrobe, but for classes that don't have such class quests would be an enormous boost.Holylr34 Nov 15

The Horde levels 50-60 guide has been rewritten and revamped.  My 1-60 Horde leveling guide is now completely updated for the 1.12 Drums of War patch.  As you can see it is about 15% larger than the 40-50 guide (single largest guide page yet).  There is also a lot of route changes.  I moved the entire Silithus section from level 55 to level 58, which allowed me to include a lot more quests for that zone.  There is also a lot of other improvement to the route, including adding a lot more quests into the guide, mostly from Moonglade, Silithus and Eastern Plaguelands.  This will make the final level 59 grind much shorter.
Unlike in the current World of Warcraft: BfA, Gold wasn't that easy to come by back in the vanilla version. Earning Gold for your first mount at level 40 was an accomplishment for the majority of players. When the game goes live and you decide to start your adventure, you will notice that every piece of equipment, crafting material and such is extremely expensive. That's always a thing when a new server or game is launched, as demand far exceeds the supply. You will also notice that quests give significantly less Gold compared to now, which makes it a necessity to play efficiently, and know goods spots for farming Gold and leveling.

Even though the guide was developed with a hunter, the guide can be followed by any class.  Except you have to do your class's quests which aren't a whole lot.  I do have full intention to make my guide friendly with all classes in the future by listing all of their steps as well.  There will be a toggle that allows you to show which class's steps you want to see in the guide.  But this is coming later.

Nov 15 Spell Mechanic Questions and Hopes on Items I am not necessarily looking for any discourse that would lead to an answer, but hopefully this would gain enough traction that Blizzard might see it, and offer some insight to intended function come summer 2019. I know there is a current wall of text somewhere regarding questions on almost every item with a spell damage effect and whether or not they will be granted coefficients from character gear grand spell damage. I noticed one in particular that was left out and wanted to reiterate my personal favorites. Shard of the Fallen Star: Originally benefited in part or completely 1:1 ratio from spell damage and was capable of critting. It was nerfed in patch 2.0 which is after classic wow content. In the spirit of keeping things as they were, do you think Blizzard will keep this mechanic or change it to a post nerf state which although is not classic wow maybe seen as a balanced fix. Weapon List: Hand of Ragnaros, Netzerek the Blood Drinker, Corrupted Ashbringer, Shadowstrike - all received 2:1 coefficent originally in classic. I believe they were a little too strong but did not receive any nerf to my knowledge. Do you think these will remain as it was or be changed to satisfy the hopes for balance?Tunnelboy6 Nov 15
Nov 15 Guild Banks Pt. 14 So let's take our minds off subs and sharding and have a nice classic discussion about guild banks. Guild banks are still by far the least impactful on gameplay and most spirit of Vanilla community change one could request. Not only that the log keeps officers and gm's honest. Without logs they are free to skim off the top of donations and trivialize their epic mount purchase. Thoughts?Padrepwn91 Nov 15
Nov 15 Classic Box Cost Disappointed in the decision to bundle the subs and (at least for now) not have a separate Classic sub option. That said, can we at least get a separate box cost for access to classic? It would: - help alleviate temporary bloat and subsequent dead realms - servers would be more stable population-wise over time - remove the bulk of the need for sharding - give a solid idea of how many servers will be needed - allow blizzard to set up a separate classic forum for those with a monetary commitment - with a separate forum group, feedback would be limited to those with a vested interest The subs would still be bundled, but there would be a box cost, akin to what one would have to pay for BFA access.
